Marquee was cracking, and had a chunk missing from the upper part.
CPO was faded, and peeling.
Here you can see the start of the water damage. The MDF is completely swollen, and falling apart.
This side was in pretty good shape. I was able to use it as a template for new pieces.
It just flakes off
Normally I would just use a flush bit to copy the side. But in this case the MDF was so soft the router bit just sank into the sides. So I had to make a template.
Sad that the cab wasn't in better shape because the art was pretty decent.
Ok got a template, and roughed out a piece of MDF Now to Cut.

The Measure twice, cut once works out really well. Pieces all fit like they should.

There was a problem with the sides being higher than the marquee, not really a problem, but a design flaw. I corrected it and made the marquee flush with the top. Looks better.
Just add the guts.
Minimal rust on the backside.

Still has some pitting from the rust, but the texture will take care of that.
