This was the sunset for last night in DTLA. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to capture this with the clouds being as nice as they were...

I was riding around on my bicycle looking for interesting places to shoot and came across these seemingly abandoned railroad tracks. I composed my shot and took this photo.
I've been in the photography business for almost a year now. I found one of my early photos from last September. Its always good to look back to learn from your mistakes and also share with others to learn from each other. G+ is a GREAT community to learn!
I came across this church on one of my early morning walks. Church goers were still inside so I had just enough time before morning mass ended to capture this photo.
This was the same day I took this photo, which was right across the street:
Fantastic sunset today...I've seen so many beautiful photos on my stream today. I figured...why not join the crowd... here is what I captured. Thanks for the inspiration +Lisa Bettany +Randy Scherkenbach +Bryan Marriott +Neil Camara +Chris Kim A
Tourist Hot Spot
This is a twilight shot of beautiful City Hall.
This is another one of my 'early' photos...taken last year. I recently went back to this spot and took a new photo of this location with my new techniques and knowledge. I will upload that as well and you can definitely tell the difference!
I posted a picture yesterday of this power plant from almost a year ago. With this picture, I have applied some of the techniques I have learned over the past few months.
Too see the other picture here is the link:

Friday Night Blues
The under belly of the Santa Monica Pier is a beautiful sight at 5am...The sun just starting to rise, the sound of the waves hitting the pillars and if you listen closely, you can hear a few seals in the distance.
Its quite calming...but I wouldn't recommend staying under there too long....
Friday Night Blues (revised)
The long walk home...
Walt Disney Concert Hall
Ahhh......temptation. If no one was looking, would you eat as many of these cupcakes as you possibly could?
Happy (almost) Friday!
This is one of my photos I took earlier this year during the VERY short rain season. It was actually raining all night and the early morning but I decided to take my camera and go out anyway. The sky was awesome, the air was clean, and it was nice and cool outside on the top floor of this parking structure.
This is the day I learned to always be prepared...always (when possible) carry you camera with your. I also keep a spare cheap tripod in the trunk of my car that has gotten me out of a few jams.
This is the well known San Francisco Pier. Many tourist come here to shop, walk around, and eat the locally caught seafood. This day was perfect...nice blue skies and warm.
If you are ever at the pier in San Francisco, you have to try the bread bowl calm chowder...its the best I've ever had.
Yes, Flower power on this fantastic Friday!
This 1st time mom-to-be was glowing with excitement at our recent photo shoot. Although she admitted to being nervous about giving birth, she cant wait to meet her pride and joy....Maya.
This is my entry for #WomenWedenesday curated by the lovely ladies: +Niki Aguirre +Athena Carey +Lee Daniels and +Christina Lawrie
The Santa Monica Pier is a magical place in the wee hours of the morning...empty, silent, and serene.
I believe today is the beginning of the new week long theme called "CoupleWeek" curated by +Mark Esguerra. If thats the case...I wanted to join in on the fun and add this photo of this couple sitting on a park bench.

Since its October, I figured a Pumpkin photo needed to be posted...
Lost in a Pumpkin Patch
Here is a photo for #TonemapHDRTuesday curated by +Drew Pion and +Stephanie Suratos. I took this a few days ago at a pumpkin patch. Interestingly they used this tractor to pull a trailer full of people around the corn fields...
Here is my final photo for #WomenWednesday before I log out of G+ for a few hours. Have a good afternoon my friends!

+Lynn Langmade and I have been battling back and forth and I think I have the knock out punch with this photo!
Earlier Lynn posted this artistic photo where she mentioned rolling around in the wet grass to accomplish this shot LOL
Here is my next photo....

Here is a shot from the Americana in downtown Glendale, CA. This is actually a fairly new shopping center that sprouted up. My favorite part of the Americana is The Cheesecake Factory and the nearby movie theatre.... dinner and a movie anyone? =)
Oh No! I forgot to post this yesterday for #TreeTuesday (+Christina Lawrie ). Oh well, Tree Tuesday is extended for me then....or else I will forget about this picture completely.
Done Weep For Me
~Lead me and I will follow
Took this photo a few weeks ago before a storm that hit Los Angeles. The sunset this day was amazing (in my opinion). This is a different view of a photo I uploaded...as I mentioned before, I pulled over in the emergency lane on the highway to take this photo with cars and trucks zooming past. I wish I would have captured the police helicopter that started circling me...but I had already packed up and got back in the car for fear of getting ticketed.
~Before the Storm~
She said NO, but I say YES
Over the holiday, I was able to spend time with family and take lots of pictures. Some were unwanted....like this one. This is my grandmother objecting to me taking her picture...she's camera shy.
Its been beautiful here in California the past few days. With the threat of rain last week, there was a beautiful display of clouds. I decided to take a walk at the beach to take a few shots.
#FallFriday (Curated by +Karin Nelson and +Stephonie Ogden ) AKA #FourSeasonsFriday
This is my 1st #FallFriday post!....hopefully not my last. Its getting late in the season but the trees around my house are still changing colors. Its interesting how all the trees on the right side of my street are changing while the trees on the left are mostly still green...
One of the photos I took the other morning of the #LunarEclipse.
Here is one more shot from the #LunarEclipse...actually pre-eclipse for #MoonMonday
I had the pleasure of being asked to capture this special moment on Christmas eve at Disneyland! This has to be the hardest photo shoot I have ever had....without a doubt. Fighting the rain, crowds, and trying to stay incognito....it was all worth it in the end to get great shots for this couple to cherish for a lifetime.

Nothing better than a early morning balloon ride!
