Tourism Saskatchewan correspondent Becky is ready to hit the road. She'll be using Tourism Saskatchewan's new mobile website, www.2sk.ca, to help guide her stops along the way.
Becky's sidekick Rocco (a.k.a. "rock star") will be along for the ride. He's even go his own "Saskatchewan: Easy to Draw, Hard to Spell" t-shirt!

We still have how far to go?!?
OK, I guess I'll just soak up the sunshine get some shut eye then.
See, Mac the Moose isn't that big...he fits in the palm of my hand! Well, actually he's nearly ten meters (32 feet) tall and weighs about 9,000 kg (10 tons).

OK, I'm starting to see a pattern here...I seem to have a thing for ice cream. The Dairy Mart just off Hwy #1 in Indian Head also has vanilla soft serve that is to die for!

Broadview Museum, home of the famous Saskatchewan goat, Sgt. Bill.
Stg Bill himself (he's the goat). Stg. Bill was from Saskatchewan and fought along side Canadian soldiers in WWI. He saved lives, was wounded four times, but still came home to Canada in 1919. He died of natural causes later that year, was stuffed and can now be seen at the Broadview Museum.
Outside the Broadview Museum.
How fitting is this?!? Saw this cute Moose couple on the side of the highway just as I was coming into - you guessed it - Moosomin!
Hanging out at the hotel in Moosomin, I could tell Rocco was jealous of my awesome pedicure, so I painted his nails too. He felt the purple I chose was a little too "girly" so he opted for the more traditional fire engine red.
See the video of my pedicure here:
The beautiful, brand new Canalta Hotel in Moosomin where we stayed. Great Internet connection, which I thoroughly appreciated : )
I didn't have time to eat here myself, but I heard from more than one reliable source that it is a great place to eat in Moosomin.
