Eagle Point Resort Marina in La Ronge, Saskatchewan.
View from the top of our houseboat, getting ready to set out on the water.
Our home on the water for the next few days. Has everything we need.
Getting me sea, yer, lake legs :)
Lac La Ronge is a huge lake surrounded by trees and rock. It's beautiful.
The kids couldn't wait to get in the water.
Our "parking spot". Eagle Point gives you ideas of good, sheltered areas to tie off and set up camp. We had this little beach all to ourselves.
My two little Saskatchewan houseboaters.
AND dessert. S'mores! Mmmmm...
Old school toaster in the houseboat. Worked like a charm.
We did some exploring of the lake with the smaller fishing boat Eagle Point sends along with the houseboat. Lac La Ronge is on the edge of the Canadian Shield so there are some amazing rock formations all over the lake.
The kids finally talked me into doing this. By the looks on their faces they're still not sure if I'll go through with it.
I took the leap!
This was so refreshing on a hot day. The water felt great!
The lovely scene we took in before turning in for the night...so peaceful.
