Fire In The Local Mountains, And A Twilight Stroll Through The Anaheim Convention Center
The fires burning in Angeles National Forest have been blazing for days now. The plumes of smoke can be seen here in Anaheim. I took off at sunset this evening to the parking structure at the Convention Center in hopes of some nice photo's of smoke on the horizon.
The smoke was there, but the light was more favorable on the old Anaheim Convention Center "Dome". It was "The Convention Center" when it was built. In recent years the Convention Center has been expanded to include a structure that looks very much like an air port terminal... and has been used as such in the film industry.
As I was coming down from the parking structure, I noticed that an event was winding down in the main complex. So I ducked in for a look around. Technically... I was trespassing, but nobody was there to stop me.
