Specifically altered focus on camera to show unusual reflection feature (lower left) from the undersized prisms.
Selected to show the sort of crud one can expect to find inside a brand new 2012 pair of Olympus DPS I 10x50 binoculars. Obviously they were not built in a clean environment. Schoolboy error really Olympus.
Camera focus altered once more to show prism clipping more clearly. It is not overly intrusive in use.
Cam altered to more clearly highlight the reflection in the prisms (lower left). Can be fairly distracting in daylight use.
Showing overall effect of undersize prisms. Really Olympus? Not one of your better ideas in my view.
Image taken through double glazing will come out soft, unless you take measures to improve things of course.
Softness improved significantly. Given it's taken through double glazing then it is not a terrible image for these very cheap Chinese made binoculars.
Chromatic aberration is minimal, vignetting is visible but minor
