Skiing in Canada makes Kay smile- a lot.
We took a 5 hour bus ride ...
and an hour snow cat ride ...
to get to our lodge deep in the Monashee Mountains of British Columbia.
It snows a lot there and that’s mostly what makes Kay smile.
Steve also likes the pow. Can you breathe in there?
Coming up for air.
... inhale, repeat.
Mike in perfect position.
Carl in perfect position.
A near miss. Hey Carl, there are 30 square miles of skiing here. Find your own line!
But Carl is still smiling.
Hey, what’s that over there?
Mike getting some air ...
and Carl getting some air.
You’d smile too if you had that line.
Woah, not smiling! It’s steep and deep here.
Kay skiing down to the cat.
Loading up for another ride to the top.
Ready for another run. It’s Kay and Steve’s turn to carry the rescue packs.
Carl on a steep.
Mike going in for a face shot.
Mike, is that you?
Steve in up to his shoulders below some ice falls.
Smiling in the tree line!
Chip got injured during our 3rd run. Next year is a do-over, buddy!
