Parking at the AS's was quite difficult
Stampede Pass AS, Mile 33
Parking was easier here.
J changed his shoes here hoping the new shoes would provide more padding for his sore heal
Meadow Mt. AS mile 40. The aid station was down a steep road from the trail, and we were allowed to crew at the trail and the runners did not have to go down to the AS if they did not want to. We opted to crew at the trail as it was a limited AS
Jon Jonckers found a great vantage point and took some awesome photos of the runners leaving from here.
Hyak AS mile 53. They went with the Santa theme. They info said this is a very noisy and enthusiastic AS, but I felt they did not live up to the liveliness. Cool decorations, but not as rowdy as advertised.
Bill at the Lake Kachess AS, Mile 68ish. This was the last AS I would see the guys at, and were Jon started pacing Jason.
J using the propane heater to warm the legs.
Caiden fell asleep in the car, when next we checked on him he had removed his sock from his foot and was wearing it on his hand.
Bill coming into the finish
Check that clock out. 24 hours 32 minutes. Way to kill it Bill!
Caiden was playing in the dirt
Train coming. Thankfully I was done taking photos on the track.
Here comes Jason and Jon. a Runner started coming up on J and he kicked it into after burner and sprinted to the finish shortly after he told me this was the most pain he has ever been in running. Way to go Bro.
Hails helping Caiden pull his pants up after he walked all the way over there with them down at his ankles just smiling away.
Jason getting his finishers buckle
Fay Bainbridge State park. Found it online and seemed like a great day out. So Leigh and the kiddos and I went a playin
