This tree has seen better days. Whether or not it has been the star of many plays is entirely open to conjecture.
"It's not a tuuuu-mah!" -Cousin Arnold
A dramatic photo of Wright's Tower, evoking such strong emotion that one cannot look at it for long without tears. You with me on this?
Boston from Wright's tower. It is not safe to breathe any closer than this.
"This is getting out of hand! Now there are two of them!" -Nute Gunray. Sadly enough, I did not have to look up his name. In case you have a life, this quote is from "The Phantom Menace".
This photo is gorge-ous. Ha! I crack myself up.
The best long view from the Fells. The other one is of the Boston skyline, which is usually covered with smog. "Fair is foul, and foul is fair. Hover through the fog and filthy air." -A witch from "Macbeth". What if Shakespeare wrote Higlander: "I am Connor Macbeth from the Clan Macbeth. It should be fairly obvious what clan I am from, yet I feel a need to mention this fact even 400 years after I was banished from said clan." Immortality and sound mental health are not bedfellows.
Notice the burl up on the left. At this burl, make a sharp turn to the right. It is not an obvious turn. I ran past it many a time.
Not quite the same as the Carrock of Beorn, eh? Kudos to the one person I know who will get this Hobbit reference.
I always take a picture here, and then I post pictures I have taken here previously. Now I have three of four seasons. When I have all four, my collection will be complete.
Bridge in the woods ahead. So cool.
Another bridge in the woods! Let the good times roll.
This bridge in the woods is the best of the best. See the movie of that title for some really awful martial arts goodness.
