Troop volunteers make each neckerchief by hand
Troop 39 Neckerchiefs are not manufactured - they are created. Each is an individual labor of love, uniquely crafted by hand.
A scout cares for his neckerchief by ironing it ahead of the 2010 Winter UNC Graduation ceremony
Each is unique in its imperfection and will become part of a unique story the journey of a boy to man through scouting with Troop 39.
The neckerchief is loaned to the boy until he becomes an Eagle Scout at which time it becomes his property.
