Sovay is a custom Marie-Grace doll with Cécile's wig and Pre-Mattel grey eyes. She is based off of the main character in the novel "Sovay" by Celia Rees. She is a custom historical, but she went modern just to wear this dress. :)
Here is Sovay in the "Monday Morning" dress from Melody Valerie Couture's Spring 2012 line. I purchased it from a board member on AGPlaythings.
This is one of my entrys for the Littlest Miss Playthings contest on the AG Playthings message board.
This was for Round 1: Weather
Round 2: Contrast
Round 3: "Out of this world"
Round 4: "Solo"
What your doll does when she's alone
"The Duchess of Alba wears a simple white gown, with a red sash and bow on her low collar. She wears her hair loose and free. This portrait shows the influence of French fashion in Spain at the end of the 18th century, 1795." as quoted from: [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1750%E2%80%931795_in_fashion#Gowns]
To be remade as Sovay's portrait sitting gown from Page 7 of the novel by Celia Rees by Dollhouse Designs.
Sovay's portrait sitting gown based off of both the novel by Celia Rees and the painting in the previous photo. Made by Dollhouse Designs
Sovay was curious and wanted to try on Cécile's special dress... Well I think she's just gorgeous in it! :)
