Arduino Bare Bones
To save space and money you may want to try an Arduino Bare Bones model. Best when you have more than one because the USB connection board for programming isn't included but you need only one.

We bought a $20 Bluetooth module from Seed Studio to see if it works as an alternative to using serial out of the HTC USB/headphone jack. This would enable all modern phones to connect to the bots.
