This Supertrapp muffler was an exciting eBay purchase in June. Vendor description was : "Supertrapp muffler/spark arrestor. Comes with an extra body and 2 end caps. Needs a good cleaning. 1.5" inlet and the spare body is a 1.25" inlet. As-is, NO RETURNS. It is what it is. Nice condition, but used. 17 discs. Just as described. E-mail any ????'s. Would work on honda xr xl sl cl cb thumper flattracker flatrack yamaha xt tt 125 200 250" However, yesterday (July) on closer observation...
... it turns out that the fitting bracket was bent and the body was split around the welds...
... on this side it is quite bad...
... here the split is 1 inch long...
This not what I call "Needs a good cleaning. Nice condition, but used." It would be rather: "has 2 splits/cuts that will need welding" .
As of Oct 17, 2010
