The mountains just outside of Pocatello. The race runs up there somewhere.
Pack pickup on Friday at the Start/Finish Area.

The weather turned out much better than forecast.
The runners were still bunched up in the early part of the race.

After a while we started to get to snow fields.
Thankfully the were solid, no post holing.

The creeks were all running high with all of the snow melt.
This was one of my favorite sections. Running along a nice stream in a pretty valley.

Muddy trails. And this was not bad at all!
This section was muddy and snowy.
Felt like full on winter on the out and back section.
A very snowy section on the out and back part of the course.
Heading up the final Corral Creek Loop. Only 6ish miles to the finish.
Post race muddy legs. I finished in 27th place with a time of 11:23:25.
