A couple of pictures from my hotel room
The president of Bangladesh was staying just across from me.

We went with our collegues to Tanah Lot for a benquet after our meetings
Tanah Lot is on the west side of Bali where there are cliffs next to the ocean
This temple was right on the ocean with acess via a natural bridge
There were lots of these "offerings" all over the place

Another temple further down the beach. The tide is high so one must walk through water to get to it.
All the Hindu statues were dressed up
I think that this volcano is Mount Batukaru. The clouds parted for just a few mintures giving us a view.
Just a few sunset pictures from where we had dinner.
The next day we hired a car and guide and toured part of the island. Here we stopped at a traditional Balinese home.

Next we stopped at a villge timple

All dressed in the proper clothes to enter the temple
Next stop was for some coffee tasting

This one was streatching out.
We got free samples of all these types of coffee except for the coffee Luwak
But we did pay $5 to try it. Is was less bitter than normal coffee.

Next stop was the town of Kimtamani, which was stiuated on the edge of a caldura.
In the middle was this active volcane. It is called Mt. Batur: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Batur
Right next to the volcano is Lake Batur.
On the drive back we stopped by this road side fruit stands. These are all over the place.
