"I call this Nemesis Hill because it's the last hill you have to go up on most bike rides back into the village. It's very steep and visibility isn't great. Others call it Gravel Hill, either way it's no fun when you are tired. The Hedge on the left was pruned a while ago and is now growing again, normally it's a very boxed in on both sides."

"I like the grain in the wood, it caught the light well as I was walking past."

"This was a massive tree until is fell to pieces in a storm during the winter. At the moment the land owner is logging it, it's very sad as it was a beautiful tree."

"I see what you mean, even if I still like 35mm cameras, in the same way I like steam engines. Even if they are "obsolete" they are still fascinating."

"I have a few Nikon SLRs that have little value due to the advent of digital. I can see the appeal, but personally much prefer a solid SLR. I started with an Agfa 110 film camera, but moved to a Zenith quite quickly, and don't really get on that well with the compact digital cameras these days. It's more about having a proper viewfinder though, so I guess a range-finder would be as satisfying once any parallax errors are accounted for!"

"They aren't worth much these days, prices for 35mm cameras have dropped through the floor and they haven't yet started to appreciate yet...

There is something fun about a range-finder camera."

"I've got a boxed one of these packed away. Great little camera in its day."
Paul Tansom
"That's a shame."

"I've looked at HDR, but not actually done anything with it yet.

I've got this as a Canon CR2 file, which has more range than this jpeg, but I don't have a AEB set of images."
Adam Trickett
"Have you tried processing this as an HDR image? I think it would come out really well."
Al McCallum
"The colours came out quite well given the awkward lighting. I did well to crop it to cut out the zillions of people milling about on the platforms.

Many of my pictures were ruined by someone walking into shot at the last moment or me struggling with awkward lighting."
Adam Trickett
"I like this one the best"
