San Luis Valley.
Dillon Reservoir- we walked the trail- only saw one guy on that side of the lake-a local riding a bike who had to stop and lecture us for walking on the right hand side of the trail. A sign of tourist burn out! Summit County seemed a bit stressed out to us!

Poudre Canyon- A national scenic byway north and west of Boulder.
We did a day hike to some lakes in Rocky Mt. Ntl. Park when staying in Estes Park for several days. It was a pleasant hike. Colder and much more like N Cascades or Canada than SW CO.

Steamboat Springs ski area.
River in Steamboat Springs- they have a nice river trail system, so of course we had to walk it!
Ridgway, CO - new development walking distance to town. We've always liked this area and are considering it for relocation.
