Research Week 2013: "One Water"
As programming for Auburn University’s Research Week 2013, JCSM and the Office for Special Programs present One Water, a film that celebrates the myriad ways water touches human lives around the globe, and explores our changing relationship to water as it grows ever more scarce. Filmed in 15 countries in both hemispheres, the film brings together stirring visual sequences, expert commentary, local music, and a score performed by the world-renowned Russian National Orchestra.
Filmmaker Sanjeev Chatterjee is an award winning documentary media maker and professor at the University of Miami School of Communication. He has taught classes in studio and field production, media and society, writing and documentary production at the University of Miami. He has been on the faculty of the Salzburg Academy on Media and Global Change, 2008 and 2009. In 2010, Chatterjee was a featured speaker at TEDxMiami and received a Fulbright scholarship to work with students in India in 2011
