Close look of the nature cut
Morning, the sun just arose. We got up around 5am to enjoy this golden light,
Good morning sunshin!
Approaching "Passo Bregain". San Lorenzo in Banale is down there..
From mt. Prada to Focella, takes "sentiero 345b"
The little break on the left is Focella Bregain. We'll hike to there and then to the other side of the mountain.
A closer look of Focella Bregain
Morning mountains are covered by low cloud
Getting closer and the slop is getting steeper!
And in front of me, a steep slop of nearly 90 degrees. Where's the road?
And here we're at the top of Forcella Bregain 1868m
The tiny path in front of us is what we need to proceed.
After some climbing up and down, grasping either rocks or ropes, here we are!
Before arriving Malga Ben, I found this strange hill on the side. It looked like an ancient fortress..
Who lived here before, if any?
Maybe some indigenous who create such a huge standing stone statue?
Have you ever watched Lie to Me? What my facial expression said?
OK, now I know why the sentiero is damn hard: it says "Alpine path, proceed with attention". Well, yes, A.T.T.E.N.T.I.O.N.
From Malga Ben to Rifugio Cacciatore, it took us another 1 hour 40 minutes! It's unexpectedly long
Rifugio Cacciatore! Yes, we arrived!
The total-11km-path we walked is hidden in the bushes of the mountain on the left. And further end was Forcella Bregain.
