I did by myself the BIM 3D models using Archicad. After I finished, I converted the Archicad 3D models to a 3D Max 3D models and I sent it to a rendering consultant who did the artistic renderings that I showed you before. I could do the renderings by myself but I was rushing with other projects. Each of these 3D models can be done in 4 or 5 days, without the normal “back and forth” of the design process.

ISLAND 1 "THE WORLD" - DUBAI
Responsible for the design and preparation of high quality working drawings which became part of the Concept Master Plan Submittal to “The World” Development Control Regulator in Dubai. Create a Building Information Modeling (BIM) Template, through which, I developed a 3D digital database (Virtual Building) for each Island project that allowed me to coordinate efficiently all professionals connected to the projects and modify spaces and buildings dynamically, fast-tracking the normal process of modifications to the design. I had the opportunity to increase the efficiency and profitability of the design process.

SITE STUDY IN NEW ROCHELLE, NEW YORK
This is a quick study that I did for a developer in New Rochelle, NY using the Google Earth and Sketch-up add-ons for Archicad Version 10. He needed to show the context of these 2 projects to an investor. The only building done in Archicad is shown on photo # 13 which is a Photomontage based on photo #14. I did the 3D model of the tall building using Sketch-up based on photo # 16 which a photomontage is done by someone else. As you can see, the photo # 15 is a photomontage based on photo #16. I did the blue building using Sketch-up, the brick buildings are existing constructions.

This BIM 3D model is the database of the Construction Documents of this project. All the floor plans, elevations, sections, interior elevations etc were the By-Product of the BIM 3D model.

HOUSE 1 IN FAIRFIELD COUNTY, CONNECTICUT, USA
The Building Department wanted to see the visual impact of the new house done in Archicad version 11 and shown on picture # 3. I had to reproduce the topography in Archicad in order to do the photomontages.
