Todays main event was to visit M's orphanage in Qingyuan City, about 75 miles outside of Guangzhou.

Today we took the infamous "Red Couch" picture at the White Swan with the other WACAP familiies. Later, we traveled by bus to the U.S. Consultate for the Swearing in ceremony and to receive the vital visa that will allow Z to enter the country.

Day 7

Today we visited the quite famous Longmen Grottoes of Luoyang. The site consists of thousands of caves carved out over a period of about 400 years (Northern Wei and Tang Dynasties), beginning in about 493 AD. Most have elaborate carvings of Buddha & others. One Buddha is over 50' tall!
