It's pretty impressive how much of the back yard they've opened up to be viewed from the back deck. Way to go, goats.
View down the right side of the yard. After pruning back the neighbor's privet, the yard appears to have increased a good 5' in width. The goats just saw it as a free meal.
That's just asking for a goat to escape.
I can't believe this has worked this far into our goat ownership. True, the dense log piling on the left was the result of some goat misbehavior. But otherwise, they haven't tried to use the creek as an escape route. Must really hate water...
There's a few plants that the goats, for whatever reason, have decided to leave untouched. Fortunately, like these ferns, many are native plants. Jewel weed and hollies are two others that come to mind.
