We're met by Dave at 8 am to board his Piper Malibu headed off on an incredible adventure.
Dan opted to sit in the back by himself only because I called shotgun.
Departing Sonoma County.
A view of Half Dome in Yosemite from a few thousand feet.
Some fall colors beginning to appear in the high Sierra.
Some great geology just outside of Vegas.
Dave needed to lose a bit of altitude after arriving in Las Vegas so we did a sharp descending turn losing 2,000 feet in about a minute. We pulled about 4 G's and my camera suddenly weighed 20 pounds trying to get this shot.
Arriving in Las Vegas for lunch.
North Las Vegas Airport, our first destination.
Dan (left) and Dave (right) just outside the Bellagio.
The very famous Dale Chilhuly glass at the Bellagio. It hangs from the ceiling in the lobby. Amazing stuff!
The largest chocolate fountain in the world.
Each dessert was $6. I'm trying to watch my girlish figure so I passed. Why?
An old man who was a high roller who lived at the Bellagio was roaming around with his dog in a stroller. I guess when you can afford to live in a hotel you can do whatever you want with your dog. Note the nice orange slacks.
Sorry we missed it!
That me outside of Caesar's Palace just to prove I really was there.
Inside Caesar's grand atrium.
Trevi fountain.
Dave posing with Sylvester Stallone. Dave is taller than Sly who was standing on a box.
They took the roller coaster off this tower and replaced it with other rides.

Back into the Malibu we went.

A very run down town. Stoopid freeway.
What spit and a clean finger can do to an old car.
Great evening for photos.
The band plays. We listen.
Terry Scott Taylor at the Wigwam.
The Lost Dogs.
The Lost Dogs play by lantern light.
A beautiful evening.
About 25 of us enjoyed the concert in the parking lot. One of their great lines was they used to be a bigger band playing in bigger parking lots.
Dave, Terry Scott Taylor, Dan.
Closed for dinner at 8 pm.
What's a "HO" breakfast and what do you need to be to get one?
The north side of the sign.
The south side of the sign.
No neon lights for Scott. Bummer.
Inside the Wigwam. Oprah supposedly stayed here. She must have used this chair.
Sunrise shot this morning. That's the shadow of our wigwam on the neighbor's.
Me outside Wigwam #9.
Our Wigwam bench. Notice the "66" on the bottom.
Packing up.
I would love to know the thought process that went into creating this sign.
Our plane all by itself in Holbrook.
