Campus

Woodstock is located 2 km from the eastern side of the hillstation of Mussoorie in northern India. The campus is situated at approximately 6500ft and spread over 290 acres of pristine Himalayan forest and has 1000ft of elevation change. It is an amazing setting for a school, one that inspires, motivates and challenges all students and staff.

Activity Week 2009

In the end of October and early November the entire school heads out to various locations in Northern India for Activity Week. It's a truly remarkable experience in life at Woodstock, with trips ranging from high altitude treks in the Himalayas, service work in Delhi, studying Tibetan culture in Dharamshala, rafting trips on the Ganges, to local village stays in Garhwal.

Uttarakhand

Uttarakhand is one of India's newest states, and was formerly part of Uttar Pradesh. In the northern part of the state the Greater Himalayas form a natural border with the Tibetan plateau, and to the east lies the border with Nepal. Two of India's most famous rivers, the Ganga and the Yamuna are born out of the glaciers, lakes and streams of this ecologically rich region.

Win Mumby Gymnasium

The state-of-the-art Win Mumby Gymasium is the focal point of our PE and Sports programme here at Woodstock. It's facilities include: basketball court, volleyball court, badminton courts, fitness room, gymastics room, squash court, climbing wall, table-tennis area and more.

Hanifl Centre treks & activities

There is always something happening at the Hanifl Centre. The Woodstock community uses it as a base camp for treks in the Himalayas, student retreats, village trips, science classes and conferences. A variety of other activities happen at the Hanifl Centre throughout the year, such as the Mussoorie International Writers Festival, Wilderness First-Aid courses, overseas mission trips, reunions and conferences. It is an amazing place that can open the door to amazing adventures.

Hanifl Centre

The Hanifl Centre is the home for Outdoor Education at Woodstock School. An amazing facility with state-of-the-art conference facilities, dormitories, guest rooms and an attention to the environment make it an ideal retreat centre and base camp for Himalayan adventures.
