On day seven we went to a rhum destillery, so our timetable for day 8 was relatively relaxed. We drove to the west coast and the area around La Trinite, which is known as surf spot in Martinique.
Hanging around on the beach was enough for us.
On day 9 we sailed with Holli. He planned to go to Le Marin and stay there for at least the rest of the week. Since we didn't want to stay overnight, we joined him just for one day. Our target for this day was Anse Noire, one of two small fisher villages in the same bay.

Holli is of course sailing under the Austrian flag.

Hoisting the sails.
The rest of the crew had not really much to do.
During our sail trip we were hit by a tropical wave expected for the weekend before. Holli didn't shorten the sails before. It was quite windy and the front sail broke up finally.

In this bay there was another rock.
Compared to the mast of Hollis sailing vessel it was about 15 meters high.
For sure Holli and I had to take it...
Next time I'll put my arms close to my body.
