The Sydney River Valley is one of the big pristine watersheds of Clayoquot Sound. It is located Northeast of Hesquiat Point Creek. Sydney River flows into Sydney Inlet. The Inlet and its slopes are protected as is the River estuary, but the vast majority of Sydney Valley is unprotected.
