When Greenfield Village opened, Thomas Edison was one of the dignitaries present. Henry Ford had him sit in this chair. They nailed it to the floor. When the replaced the floor a couple of years ago, they cut out the original floor with the chair and inserted it here.
When Thomas Edison was here, he placed his elbow on this post.
