The Target Tracking Radar site where I worked. You can't see it but we're knocking around a soccer ball - we played a couple of games against teams with players from England and the St. Helena - surprise we neither tied nor won any matches
We used a prototype Nike-Zeus Radar System to track missiles, satellites, and space debris for the US Air Force - In the foreground is the Nike-Zeus missile tracking radar platform and in the background is the target tracking radar building

Closeup of the antenna and the receiver front end which is just behind the dish. Ascension Island is located just below the equator but I used to get little areas of frost bite on my skin from over filling the liquid nitrogen reservoir used during MASER cool down operations.
