With a 4th birthday approaching, Fiona is old enough to graduate to a booster seat... which is a real blessing for her parents, who are not sorry to bid farewell to spending 10 minutes trying to install a car seat in a cab while leaving the airport.

We have new cats. They treated the Christmas tree with some curiosity, but never caused any problems. Until 4am on Christmas morning, when they knocked it over. We wound up having to remove the decorations and propped the tree in the corner to redecorate when guests arrived.
