Sanding Outfit 1

Thanks for dropping by! The first outfit that I wore on Saturday 14th June 2008 was an exquisite turquoise beaded songket. My original choice was a pastel pink of the same design but I had a feeling San wasn't too happy with pink even tho he didn't voice anything out cos he wanted me to be happy. But deep in my heart, I thought, if he wasn't happy, then why should I? I felt so selfish then so I decided to change the colour to turquoise which I think ended up to look so much better on me! What do you think?

Sanding Outfit 2

I love this outfit the most cos we had the most fun in it! There was the cake cutting which was hilarious cos we had trouble cutting the royal icing but the fruitcake inside was goooood!!! Then we posed at the kallang river which is right behind where we held the reception... They're our favourite bunch of pics! We then moved on to the groom's place where we finally had our very late lunch. Was super-starving by then but the photog insisted we pose and feed each other first before we seriously attack the food! Hehe... Enjoy!

Sanding Outfit 3

I never intended to wear a third outfit for the sanding (I thought it would be too much of a hassle) but Mama insisted on it and since the reception lasted til nighttime it sort of made sense I guess... I am so glad I listened to Mama cos I loved it!!! and everybody else did it too so I'm happy! Before turning in for the night (our first night together!!!) we did some poses on the bed for the photog and I felt a bit embarrassed but I think it turned out good in the end!

Our Nikah 13.6.08

Our solemnization took place at the void deck of my parents flat at 8pm on Friday, 13 June 2008. The nikah was solemnized by Kadi Hassan and witnessed by many people including both our families, relatives and close friends. Enjoy the photos... and thank you to those who were present during this life-changing night.
