Carving the pumpkin -- a tradition here. The boy and I gut the pumpkin (and Jake did great this year) and Dave carves it.
Timmy asked for these cookie-cutter like things that you can use to poke shapes into the pumpkin.
You hammer this toothed cutter into the pumpkin...
We had a star shape and a bat shape.
Dave made a great silly face for this year...
The 2nd pumpkin was more of a challenge. It's "Timmy's" pumpkin, very bumpy and not kind to our cutting tools.
Jacob posing with one of the pumpkins.
We just ended up poking the cutters all over this one. Not nearly as good looking.
The boys posing, getting ready to head out.
My silly silly Jacob.
A Family Halloween picture...Mom's planning to pretty up that witch costume for next year....
This year was Mom's turn to go out with the kids, Dave stayed home as a reenactor, complete with campfire. He was a big hit in the neighborhood.
The kids did really well, but Timmy got tired and went home early with Grammy. Jacob continued for 2 more streets.
No wonder Timmy got tired, he did so much running! He was so cute in his robe!
Pardon the lighting, it was getting dark.
