Interstellar Pleasure Barge Mark 3 (2009)
Testing fluorescent back-lit facade.
Mounted forty 24” fluroescent fixtures. 800 watts worth!
Painted the van black and added siding to the upper railings.
The new fore section of the barge, framed and decked.
Finally found a use for the all the 1x2 cut-offs I've been accumulating: a 3' radius semi-circle.
Removed the upper railing.
I've removed some of the old panels and the angled section.
At some point the vinyl covering of the barge was destroyed by the freeway winds taking half of the welded structure with it. We were, of course, able to repair it on-playa.
