After waking up from sleeping most of the flight to Kos.
Pretty Kos
At the port in Kos wasting time until our ferry got there.
Turkey was only about 2 miles away. Julie was very excited.
It was VERY windy on the ferry!
We came prepared! If you want to drink water on Patos, it must be bottled water.
I have no idea. Maybe I was getting tired of the wind :)
I can't remember which island this is but it was on our way to Patmos.
Where we stayed
Antony and me. They were all SO nice and would do anything for us. He was always smiling like that when we saw him.
Hi Julie!
Looking into our room. Over night there was quite a lot of wind that kept me up for a while.
The courtyard on the way to our room.
one of the beaches right down the street from our room.
On our way to Chora
I think this is near the cave.
Tall wall on the side of the road. This is as much of a barrier that we saw. I would not want to drive in Greece!
Second day in Patmos up to see the Monastery
Courtyard of the monastery
YUM!
Icky scales!
Relaxing on the pier
I found a random blister on my toe.
Me, on Patmos, in the middle of the sea, half a world away from home. CRAZY!
Choppy waters
There were fireworks. I think it's because it was the last day of the official tourist season. They were excited! hahhah!
The enormous 2:30am ferry.
On the ferry at 2:40am. Long night!
