8 Church Fish and Shopping

We all had a great time going to church together and then having a great fish lunch! Shopping was fun too! Then, of course, we ended the night with another great dinner and cake at Auntie Lisa's house! What fun. Oh, but parting once again was not easy. Lots of tears. What dear children. We love you Rachel, Laura, Jacob and Gracie! We are going to have fun keeping up with each other via mail, email, boxes and fun stuff like that!

6 Lisa's Birthday Tea

Lisa's friends in Pittsburgh had a surprise birthday tea party to honor her for being a faithful Titus 2 sister, mentor and friend. What a blessing to be there with her and see so many beautiful women thank her with tears of joy for all the many different ways Lisa and her family have ministered to them and blessed their families for eternity! To God be the glory!! I love you Lisa!!

We celebrated the 40th birthday for Charlene, Lisa, and Cam at Le Mont, one of the nicest restaurants in Pittsburgh, with a beautiful view of the skyline. Then, we took the incline down and up Mount Washington.

Charlene 40 Bday

Charlene turned 40 on April 16, 2008. We had a BLAST at the San Antonio Riverwalk and eating at Pappadeaux! Thank you Lord for giving her 40 years and we ask for at least 40 more!!

We found a HUGE snail in our yard, and the kids named him "Sammy the Snail." They were best friends for a day, then he "escaped" somewhere in our house. . . "bye bye Sammy. . . we will miss you!"

Dessert Movie Party 28Dec2007

Charlene worked for 2 days in preparation for our "Dessert Movie Party" with the Squires family. What fun. We had turkey cheese croissants, bean dip, cheese/veggie platters, and multiple dessert dishes, including her famous triple chocolate tort. YUMMY!!

Kingston Flyer

We took a trip trip to Kingston to ride the Flyer, a very cool railroad train. It was a fun day, and the kids loved it. We had our own separate private luxury car on the return trip. What a day! Thank you Lord!

Steamship

We took the TSS Earnslaw Steamship all the way to Walter's Peak, where we saw deer, sheep, Scottish cattle, and even saw a sheep getting shorn. It was a wonderful day. The last 20 or so thumbnails are the videos from the day. ENJOY!!

Invercargill Squires

We went to Invercargill and the kiddos had fun playing on the steel kiwi downtown. Then, we traveled to Otatara and visited the Squires family. It was another day of fun and fellowship with our dear friends!! We had a wonderful meal of chicken, EJ's specialty beans, tortillas, lettuce, tomatoes, salsa, sour cream, cheese, chips, and such... I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!!! Enjoy the pics.

Queenstown Gondola

We went to lunch at Taqueria Poblano, then took a stroll down to the pier, then we went up the Gondola, which is the steepest lift in the Southern Hemisphere and it carried us high above Queenstown to the Skyline complex located on Bob's Peak. It was a BLAST!!!!
