This duck was covering it's ducklings. There were 10 of them under her wings.
Cebolla (Say- Voy- Yah) Creek just about 5 miles south out of Lake City, CO. Wild brown trout are plentiful here and were caught on little black ants.

Hiking from Little Hole to section B. Getting closer....It takes about an hour to hike the 2.5 miles but the fishing is very good there.

Going horseback riding on a 6000 acre ranch.

This is the horseback ride everyone dreams about. No "nose to tail' riding here. It's wide open range just like in the Zane Grey novels.
I was taken on a 3 1/2 hour ride on open range. They even let me take him for a nice gallup on several ocassions.
No trails, just sage brush and wide open spaces........
We got back to the ranch and the other horses were waiting for us a the corral.
