She's finally here! We've been looking forward to this day!
On our way to Glasgow to see the sites!
In his own little corner of the world
The Glasgow Catherdral
En route
Check out these cool light posts!
And this cool couple!
Inside the gorgeous cathedral
Jesus, our home slice
Sara has traditional fish n' chips
Outside of the People's Palace in Glasgow
And the lovely garden inside!
Hello, pineapple
This is Ross who quickly became our friend. Just a little chatterbox lookin' for luck by throwing pennies into the fountain....quite a cutie!
Banana Boots! Can't wait to get my hands on a pair....or is it a bunch?
And some lovely platforms!
Sara discovered a new passion in card making while here.
Sunday afternoon we went to tea!
Mike and Sara had a wee whisky taking (they spell wisky without the 'e' here.....different). Here, Mike prepares two wee drams for them

Painting Pottery!!
We need ideas!
Ready to go!
She did such a cool job of etching her tile...I loved it!
Girl could not get enough Tunnock's Tea Cakes!
Card making at Katie's
At the Auld Hundred Sara "enjoyed" haggis for the first...and perhaps the last time
And a Tennant's
Not so excited with how it looks....those are neeps and tatties beside the haggis. Neeps are simply mashed turnips and tatties are simply mashed potatoes. Try to get Sara to say that without laughing though....not so easy!
Willing to give it a go!
Mike already knows that he likes the meal
The first bite
Oh goodness, I didn't get any more pictures of the haggis....sorry. This is the Dalriada where we hung out with Katie W., my other Katie friend from work.
Lovely, live guitar music
Sara is thrilled to have gotten a positive response from DJ Johnny to give her Dad a pint glass because they aren't really sold here and Sara didn't want to steal it. Honesty got her a pint glass...interesting, huh?
We each try a dee fried mars bar for the first time
Are we ready for this?!
Not so sure
Getting ready to walk up the Walter Scott monument....and scared to do so!
Mike has concrete growing out of his ears!
A little scared of heights
A view of Princes Street
Arthur's Seat
The castle in the distance
The other end of Princes St. by the gardens
The view of Mike's University on the mound
A little documentation that we climbed to the top...I didn't see who wrote it though...did you?
A view of Edinburgh
A little Uno action...should have played more, but we just got so into everything else that there was only time for a few games....yep, I still got my game (and Sara does too for that matter)
Taking pics from the bus...trying to catch a glimpse of the snow covered castle
This has been our version of Sara's visit in pictures....I'm posting another album with her shots of her time in the city if you care to have a look. Will post soon...
