Elephant Man Triathlon 26Sept2010
Elephant Man Triathlon is an olympic distance triathlon held at the Elephant Butte Lake State Park. This race is extremely well organized, the course is beautiful and challenging. The community support and enthusiasm for the event are amazing with homemade cookies, constant cheering and smiles and most importantly, 150 volunteers (that's 1:2 ratio of volunteers to racers) from total of about 2500 residents! Camping on the lake for the event and visiting the town and hot springs make the whole event a great trip for any group/family! Absolute must of a race!!
