NY Tibetan Protest March 15, 08

The second day protest infront of the Chinese consulate today turned into heat when some picketers throwed rocks destroying several windows of the consulate. Some of the Tibetans were arrested soon after an incident. However, the protest went peacefully on til 5pm today. Several hundred Tibetans came for the protest. There will be protest near the Chinese consulate tommorow on March 16, 2008 at 09.00am.

Protest New York 14 March 2008

Hundreds of Tibetans rallied infront of the United Nation demonstrating against the ruthless killing of hundreds of peaceful demonstrators inside Tibet by the Chinese armed force. Few of the Tibetan youths were detained by the New York Police after trying to enter the UN building. Tomorrow, NY Tibetans are demonstrating infront of the Chinese Consulate in New York. NYC Demonstration

RTYC NEW York and New Jersey organized a mass rally on December 9, 2007 from 9 AM. Th peace rally was started from Cadman Plaza, Brooklyn and continue onto Brooklyn Bridge, through the busy China Town area and then march onto UN followed by a march toward Chinese Consulate on 42 Street, This mass rally was organized to commemorate the World Human Rights Day which falls on December 10. More than over four hundred Tibetans and supporters joined the rally.

Tibetan Mass Movement in New York

Tibetans in New York and New Jersey took part in a Mass demonstration today in commemorating the International day of action for Tibet which coincides with a year countdwon of Beijing Olympic 2008. More than a thousand Tibetans took part in this demonstration by showing solidarity to the 14 brave hunger strikers in Delhi.
