In order to deliver the smoothest possible satin black finish the new timber used is expensive HMR (high moisture resistant) particleboard veneered in Tasmanian Oak.

Keyboards completed and wired. Mother of Pearl (MoP) buttons would not fit side by side on the OSI cheeks, hence the staggered layout.
