Padang Tembak (Rifle Range) Penang
Padang Tembak Flat in Ayer Itam Penang is one of the earliest low-cost housing project in Malaysia in the 60s (I can't find the exact date). Due to bad planning and design, it has become overcrowded and almost like a ghetto haunted by social problems.
Looking from a different perspective from the foot hill of Penang Hill, there is a certain calmness and tranquility about the place. Unable to see the thousands of human stories behind closed doors and in between the spaces of the concrete walls. Standing, plain, and unpretentiousness.
