A day at Matapalito beach We had to climb a rocky path in flip flops to get there, but it was worth it.
we had the beach all for ourselves, the only other people present were fishermen, on the other side of the hill at Matapalo beach :)

Playa Conchal... one of the most beautiful beaches of Costa Rica
got stung by a jellyfish at Conchal... thought it wasn't so bad at first, got a line on my arm and side...
but turns out the lil booger got me real good :S
the culprit... I think... beautiful shades of blue... but still, I like them more on my plate then in the ocean :S
no more swimming in jelly waters... so I made a sandman (there wasn't any snow available :P)
and Nila made a turtle... since we didn't see any nesting one the previous night

My really cool 4X4... only time in my life I will agree to drive one... there is no other way to get around with all the remote dirt roads and crazy hills...

THE best margarita in the world!!! Chico's bar, Montezuma... 4h30 drive to get there, and it was worth it!!! :) (damn I look aweful on this!!! lol!!!)

mud bath.. don't I look smart :P but it feels soooo good!!! relax in a sauna, then paint yourself in volcanic hot mud, let it dry, rinse it off in hot springs.. pura vida :D
Next day Nila and me went back to Rincon for a (half) day of hiking... didn't have time to do the long trail to reach the top of the volcano, but it was a really good one none the less :)
