First I paint them black
Then I paint them white! Except for that one, since it will be a crow! ;)
And after an average of an hour painting each, I have seven pretty much done being painted!
The evil goblin helm! (I went for a sort of older steel look)
He's really quite friendly! Really! ;)
The cyclops steampunk goblin helm. Thanks to Monoceros Media for cutting the plastic gears from my designs! The “slabs” are fun foam covered with an assortment of paper, silk, and tissue paper.
Who needs a straight beak when you're a goblin??
The ”patched-together in the subterranean cavern“ helm. Yes I do just sometimes just stick gears on things, thank you! :D

And the other side!
The “mysterious tarnished silver magic eyeless helm!”
I tried to give a hint of eyesockets above the mesh to make it more of a helmet and less of a hat.
And look! The other side! The keys I made from pressing one of my own collection into the side of some fun foam, carving out the impression, and covering with silk to keep them on. All shapes are fun foam covered with stuff to make them one with the shell.
Rar, burnt bird critter! The flecks come off of the eyes, this was just after painting and I had to set it down lest I get more thumbprints on it than necessary.
Rar! It needs some floofy hair or a mane or something.
Green and yellow-gold bug-eyed critter! No side pic of it this time.
Leafy flame critter. All that texture is silk. I will painstakingly draw some leaf veins on this one before I call it done.
Friendly? Unfriendly? With this one it's all with the wearer! Again, flecks on the eyes will come off!
