This is a picture of Kirkland Hall at night. It's really a beautiful building.
Kirkland Hall again, from the other side. You can see the light from the moon on the clouds behind it. This was the night of the lunar eclipse, so it was pretty cool lighting.
As you can see, the moon is half eclipsed here. Again, Kirkland Hall serves to set the scene.
I'm not sure what building this is, but I liked the layout with the tree on the left and the building on right. I thought it framed the moon well.
The half-eclipsed moon through some tree branches. The color came out really well here.
A friend of mine sent me a dozen roses. Aren't they beautiful?
Wait, what's that? They don't look quite right...
Yes, that would be a holy crap, twelve gorgeous origami pink paper roses. Which means that they still look just this pretty.
From the Victory retreat. Leia's face was just too good not to include it.
This one is in here for Josh's face.
While Josh still looks...quizzical? some of the lovely ladies of Victory smile sweetly. Except for Rebecca, who seems a little deer-in-the-headlights. And Kate, who seems a little crazed.
Cranium. This would be explained much better if I could post video or if I had the list of quotes, but alas, I do not. Perhaps someone who does can put them in the comments.
Wade shows off his knowledge of women's fashion. How many of you ladies would not want that beautiful high heel to grace your foot?
Vanderbilt at night.
What's all this? Is that...yes, yes it is...snow. In Nashville.
A screenshot from my robotics final project.
I tried to get a picture of when the steam from the plant completely obscures the bottom of the stack and it looks like it is rising out of nothing on a gray day like this. Didn't quite work out.
Matching dancers on Vintage Rhythm's last night.
Reuel has got some style.
I got home one day after it rained, and this was waiting for me. God promises us a lot, and He always follows through.
This is a hint of my love affair with clouds. I have so many pictures of clouds from the ground, from the air, in all kinds of weather, in all kinds of light, etc.
A little bit of dancing. This is from blues bombing a Goth club.
More blues bombing. This is entirely Kyla's awesome styling.
Reuel hits a break practicing for the Solo Charleston competition.
I don't know what was going on there, but dang that's pretty.
Here you see my friend Jen and her dad building the coolest tree house I've ever seen in my life. I think that's the second story they are working on.
I took a bunch of people from my summer job blues bombing. It was awesome, can't you tell?
My lovely sister ready to ride in the flag at Chukkers for Charity.
Erin about to lead me on a biking tour of Los Angeles.
If anyone knows how to jump out of a swing with style, it's Eamon Doyle.
In the middle of an L.A. harbor, surrounded by the status quo, was a totally random Chinese junk. Very cool.
I like fire, too.
Mmm...fire and friends. Just not combined too closely.
Jen and her flowers. This is the friend with the treehouse.
Running water is pretty, especially when it's surrounded by green.
These trees were here and there around Arches National Park, and I think that they are some of the most beautiful things that I have ever seen.
Jen climbing off the prescribed trail at Arches.
This is of me climbing. Note that I am two hundred feet up the face of the rock without a harness. Right.
Obligatory picture of an arch from Arches. Western landscapes still seem like a totally other world to me.
Aww...Eamon and Liz. How cute.
I love clouds. I love their texture, I love their color, I love their depth, I love their size...
Have I mentioned that I like clouds? Especially when light plays through them?
Clouds are pretty.
Light is pretty, too. Especially when it's surrounded by clouds.
This cross is on top of a hill overlooking Clark's farm in Nebraska. I'm a fan.
A girl and her horse.
Andi and Jen, to be specific.
It's just a plane, but I like how the light hits the contrail and makes it look like a comet.
The infamous midnight blowout in the middle of nowhere, southern Utah. Yes, that tire is smoking and yes, those are three big holes in the sidewall.
Part of the roadtrip crew.
Taken May 22, 2007 to have record of my first, and thus far only, speeding ticket. The text on the mirror is particularly apt here.
Clouds and a sunset. Sweetness.
This would be my family at my graduation.
Me, Mel, and Mark. We did some stuff together, and our families ended up going out for dinner together the night before graduation.
Well, I had to pick one of the pictures that I was in. The real stars of this play were Paul and Bennett. Bennett in particular is a born actor - very animated.
Dude, I finally got baptized.
That would be me ripping apart a house in NOLA.
Too good not to include.
Two of the coolest guys I know on the Olin Mission Trip putting some woman's house back together. They are going to do crazy, awesome things. Mark my words.
