Fall color on a gray day
Fall color on a gray day. The vegetable garden is just to the left of the green tree in the middle distance (on the right). You can just barely see the potato bins I protected from frost with row covers.
Looks like a photo of fall color, but I was really trying to get a picture of the sparrow in the bare tree (next photo).
Chipping Sparrow? Not a clear enough photo to be sure, but I think so.
The same Monarch butterfly that was on the Verbena, now hiding from me and my camera in the woods.
