Spring 2010 Surf Clinic
Each semester Rec Sports hosts a surf clinic designed to introduce the TAMUCC community to the sport of surfing. Even on this choppy and overcast day, the clinic was a success.

Group Fitness Spring 2010
A variety of Group Fitness classes are offered to the TAMUCC community. These classes range in style and difficulty: Zumba, Yoga, Cycle & Scuplt, Step & Tone, Pilates and Boot Camp.

Homecoming Faculty/Staff vs Student Basketball Game
The Faculty/Staff vs Student basketball game was a new event added to the TAMUCC Homecoming festivities in 2010. The final score was a little embarassing for the Faculty/Staff team, but a good time was had by all.

Super Bowl Flag Football Tourney
Each year, weather pending, Rec Sports holds a Flag Football Tournament on Super Bowl weekend. Teams compete in this one day event each year.

Turkey Trot 2009
Each November Rec Sports hosts the annual Turkey Trot where participants bring a canned food donation to run in the event.

Family Fit Day
Family Fun Day activities are offered to the TAMUCC community once a month. Activities range from days at the local aquarium to ice hockey games to fitness days in the Wellness Center.

NIRSA Flag Football Regional Tournament
Two flag football teams represented TAMUCC at the NIRSA Flag Football Tournament at SFA over the weekend of November 15. TAMUCC was well represented by a Men's team (Mortal Kombat) and a Co-Rec team (Never Let Up).
