1.9.2010, Leutasch. Our track ahead: Leutasch/Moos – right up to Rauthhütte – return trip towards Hohe Münde (2004 m) – Rauthhütte – left down Leutasch/Moos.
Starting from a parking lot at Leutasch/Moos, we plan a circle tour via Rauthhütte cottage (1605 m).
Rauthhütte cottage (1605 m) offers really splendid panoramas.
Some daredevils are also allowed to take a walk towards the peak of Hohe Münde.
Some of us pluck up courage to go up under the mountain as far as snow and time will permit.
Upon reaching the height of 2004 meters, we stop. It is return time.
Scenery is enthralling.
Great hiking and climbing in heights are definitely out of question.
Although officially summer by calendar, we are experiencing for a short time a real winter.
We are returning to Rauthhütte cottage and then through the forest to the parking lot in Leutasch (1156 m).
The greenery down sharply contrasts with the winter dominating the heights.
