Commercial traffic of all shapes and sizes uses the seaway everyday. Remember they are the priority. Pleasure boats like us are a distraction that must be accomodated...for a small fee $25 per Canadian lock and $30 per US lock.
Rafting is expected in the Canadian locks. ONly the boat on the wall gets the lines supplied by the lock staff. Everybody else relies on their own stuff. Te order is poer boats first, then sail. Largest to smallest in each type of boat goes first.
