War Graves-Mailly Wood British Cemetery, Mailly-Mailley, France
We met up with some Englishmen looking for their ancestor. We parked the car in a farm lane and walked along a muddy track to get to the cemetery. We were complaining about the caking of the mud, it was very much like clay which really stuck to our shoes and was difficult to get off, but then - how could they have fought a war in this stuff!
