Climbing the easy lower slopes.
From the lower ridge, lookup up to where some of the approach scrambling begins. (photo, me)
Jeff about to get into some scrambling (photo, me).
Jeff getting into a bit more than scrambling here... if you sniff around you can find easier terrain than this. (photo, me)
This stitched photo shows most of the "meat" of the route... it begins just to the left of where Jeff is walking (in behind the tree) with some easy scrambling and then the climbing goes up the prominent right-facing corner that can be seen beginning just above the tree.
This is the lower half of the climb... it starts left of the shadowed roof above Jeff and settles into the corner that forms up higher. (photo, me)
The upper part of the climb. A pretty confusing angle, but it basically follows the large corner on the leftish side of the photo.
You can see me in the middle of the photo, leading the first pitch.
Yeah! After some hard climbing, you need some ketchup. Especially when you throw away all of your evil, BPA contaminated water bottles and don't buy a new, non-evil one. Top of pitch one.
Whoa, gear! All pitches were bolted, except the first, for which I used a tree for a station.
Looking down from the top of pitch one.
Jeff and I, pleased after knocking off the first pitch under blue skies. It was so hot under the beating sun of the hottest day of summer that I resorted to using my bandana as a cape of sorts!
Leading pitch three.
More pitch three.
Top of pitch three.
Me starting up pitch four.
Almost up pitch four.
Getting psyched up to lead pitch five.
I'm up at the top of pitch five, a few meters below the big roof.
Me starting up pitch six, the final one.
Meters from the top of the climb!
At the top!
