After leaving the campgound's eating area, we we through an avalanche runout. We chose to go up to the right, angling around the right side of the pinnacle.
The terrain got a little steep below the pinnacle as we traversed... would have been better to stay a little lower.

Here in the gully on the right side of the pinnacle, we weren't sure if this gully would go or not...

At the top of the gully there was time to look across to Pilot Mountain.
Going forward we had to traverse more gullies via some narrow ledges. We were lucky the route went.
Traversing our 2nd gully via a ledge system... there were about 3 gullies to traverse in all.
Past the gullies and up a short ridge brought us to the flats of the moutain top.

Our ascent route was around the right of the pinnacle, just hugging the base of the smooth right-facing slab.
